| "I shoot whatever catches my eye. Although nature provides much of my subject matter, inherent beauty can be found almost anywhere. I like to explore diverse subjects including architecture, abstracts and the occasional chicken! Traditional, unaltered photography satisfies the purist in me."
Carol Weeks grew up in Charleston, SC, and has been photographing since 1982. She has a B.S. in botany and a Masters degree in teaching. She has had real jobs, having worked as a professional naturalist and educator. Carols work has won several major awards in juried exhibitions across the country. Her Maple Tree image graces the cover of the recently published book, Tree Stories by Warren Jacobs. Visit Carol's web site - www.nfrog.com - to see more of her work. |
