Sharyn M. Fogel, a native of Western North Carolina, attended Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Sharyn studied portrait painting with Roman and Constantine Chatov in Atlanta, Georgia for 3 years and participated in many workshops with individual teachers including Joe Miller, Tony Couch, Daniel Greene, Sue Russell, Herbie Rose, and Michael Del Priore.

Sharyn successfully held several one-woman shows in Brevard and Hendersonville, NC as well as Atlanta, Ga. Recently she’s had watercolor paintings in the Southern Living House at Brookgreen Gardens, Pawley’s Island, SC. Sharyn’s work has been featured at the Gallery on Main, Brevard for over 12 years.

Sharyn’s professional art career consists of commissions for watercolor paintings and she is in demand with designers for the creation of interior and exterior murals. Her murals can be seen in Brevard’s downtown business district and in many homes throughout Western North Carolina. Sharyn enjoys oil portraiture as well as painting furniture.
